Bivši predsednik SAD Barak Obama podelio je plejlistu svojih omiljenih pesama za leto 2023.
„Kao i svake godine, evo nekoliko pesama koje sam slušao ovog leta — mešavina starog i novog“, tvitovao je Obama uz svoju selekciju. „Radujem se što ću čuti šta sam propustio.“
Obama je stekao naviku dva puta godišnje da deli liste svojih omiljenih knjiga, muzike i filmova. Njegove najpopularnije pesme 2022. uključivale su pesme Rosalije, Maggie Rogers, Kendricka Lamara i Bad Bunny-a, dok su Mdou Moctar, Mitski, War on Drugs i drugi dobili te počasti prethodne godine, piše magazin „Pitchfork“.
U junu, kada ga je novinar Hasan Minhaj pitao da li je zaista napravio svoje izbore za plejliste, Obama je izneo bezbrižnu odbranu. „Izgleda da ljudi misle: ’Pa, mora da je imao nekog 20-godišnjeg stažistu koji je smišljao ovu najnoviju listu ’“, rekao je, nastavljajući: „Ne, čoveče! Trenutno je na mom iPad-u!”
